Image library - Image library

In this image library you will find examples of maps or time series that can be made with the KNW data.

For example; average wind speed, the wind speed distribution and a wind rose for different heights per location. Weibull scale parameter a, the Weibull shape parameter k and the mean and maximum wind speed F for different heights. Once-a-year, once-in-10-year, once-in-50-year, once-in-100-year and maximum in the period 1979 to 2013 3 second wind gusts, the 10, 50 and 100 year return speed maps and 11 year running mean: minimum, 10th and 90th percentile, maximum, all for different heights.

Use one of the combinations below, select a height or location with the filter or fill in a keyword to find what you are looking for. More information about the parameters and locations of the meteo masts can be found under KNW data.

Get examples of maps of wind speed, gust and Weibull parameters (1979-2013) for various runs with different heights in meters.
Get examples of wind speed distributions, Weibull-parameter (profiles), wind roses, yearly and monthly averages and average diurnal cycles (for 1979-2013) at 100 m height for Cabauw and at central points of the different wind farms or wind masts. For every location there is also a vertical profile of the Weibull scale and shape parameter.
