Trajectories of the first three Dutch Argo floats. They were deployed in 2004 in the Bay of Biscay.

Aan de trajecten is goed te zien dat er in dit zeegebied gemiddeld een noordwestwaartse stroming langs de rand van het kontinentale plat staat. In deze stroming zitten echter grote wervels, zodat de floats soms een extra rondje draaien. De meest noordelijke float (690076) heeft daar de meeste last van.
